Why can't I post a new classified advert?

To post new classified advertisement you need to be a registered user. Creating an account on ad4all.co.uk is simple and easy to do. Click on the 'Register' link in the top right hand corner of the screen and enter your details. Once done, you're ready to start discovering what ad4all.co.uk has to offer.

 

Why do I need to register?

As a guest, you can just see ads, but if you wish to post ads, you need to become a registered user. As registered user gives you an identity on the AD4ALL website and will give future benefits.

 

Registration is free, and offers an extended range of features, including:

Posting new ads

Receiving email notification and replies

Starting private conversations with other members

Entering competitions

Buying and selling for free in the classifieds

Saving your favourite ads and reviewing later

Reviewing, editing or deleting your posted ads

 

What are you not allowed to buy or sell on Ad4all website?

All items below are prohibited to sell or buy on AD4ALL website.

 

Medicines: Prescription only medicines, pharmacy only medicines, GSL (General Sales List) medicines, herbal medicines and veterinary medicines are prohibited.

Illegal drugs: including all associated paraphernalia.

Tobacco: cigars, cigarettes, tobacco or nicotine substitution, electronic cigarettes (including e-shisha and e-hooka cigarettes), herbal cigarettes and herbal smoking mix are prohibited if they contain tobacco or nicotine.

Animal or Human products: Human parts or remains. Used underwear. Live animals. Parts or products from whale, dolphin, shark, elephant (including elephant ivory) or from any other regulated endangered or protected plant or animal are prohibited.

Plants, plant material and seed: Certain types of plants, seeds and other plant material are prohibited or regulated to ensure they are safe for pets, humans and the environment. Seller must seek advice from appropriate government authorities before (a) exporting, importing, receiving or transporting such agricultural or plant material, and (b) selling seed, as marketing regulations apply and licensing may be required (e.g. for vegetable and grass seed). The appropriate authority is the Food and Environment Research Agency (FERA) in the UK and the Department of Agriculture in the Republic of Ireland.

Hazardous and controlled substances: including without limitation lead based paints, items containing mercury and items that contravene any provision of REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals) or are restricted under Annex XVII of the REACH Regulation.

Weapons or items that could be construed as a weapon: including without limitation disguised knives such as belt buckle knives, air gauge knives and pocket knives; stealth, throwing, ballistic and rubber knives; hunting knives; bladed weapons such as switchblade, spring-blade, snap-blade, gravity, stiletto and butterfly knives; martial arts training knives; blow guns and blow pipes; crossbows; dart guns; disguised stun guns; flares; electric stunning devices and tasers; spear guns; explosives; nun chucks; throwing stars; knuckle dusters; daggers and swords.

Fireworks, firearms and ammunition: including without firecrackers, imitation BB guns and air rifles.

Gaming: gaming machines and lottery tickets.

Pornographic, Obscene or Offensive materials: including images that portray nudity in a gratuitous or graphic manner but excluding adult DVD's which are not obscene or offensive.

Government and official documents and uniforms: including without limitation passports, driving licenses, birth certificates and qualification certificates. Items that infringe upon an individual's privacy: items that infringe upon, or have potential to infringe upon, an individual's privacy are prohibited.

Gift cards or gift certificates.

Financial products: including without limitation credit cards, insurance, shares and bonds.

Items that could encourage illegal activity: including without limitation lock picking devices, unlocking software and "codes" that can be used to access content on other websites or platforms.

Products that are not safe: Products subject to a product safety recall, regardless of branding. All new toys and electrical equipment must be CE marked, must be tested by an expert prior to listing to verify that they are safe (that is, there is no risk that the toy or equipment will cause death, personal injury or damage to property) and, where applicable, must come with a UK standard three-pin plug.

Illegal and potentially illegal products: including without limitation items that cannot be lawfully shipped or sold in the UK (including without limitation items prohibited under the Terrorism Act 2000); unauthorised replicas, counterfeit items or unauthorised copies; stolen goods (any items obtained via unlawful means); items that infringe a third party's intellectual property rights; promotional or advanced copies of media items; personal information and mailing lists; titles that cannot be sold under the Honours (Prevention of Abuses) Act 1925 (including without limitation the titles Duke, Duchess, Marquess, Marchioness, Earl, Countess, Viscount, Viscountess, Baron, Baronet or a Knighthood) and items whose sale, distribution, offering, import or export is prohibited or restricted by any Applicable Laws, the Buyer's country of residence, the Merchant's country of domicile or any other country where delivery takes place.

 

If we determine that the content of any Listing is prohibited, in violation of intellectual property rights, potentially illegal, or inappropriate, we reserve the right to remove the ad in our sole discretion.

How do I cancel my account?

If you would like to cancel your account, please send request email to info@ad4all.co.uk and we will cancel it for you.

 

I can't remember my password?

 It's easy, click the "forgot your password?" link on the login page and follow the onscreen instructions and you will receive email with remainder

 

How do I change my password?

To change your password, please log in and go to the Account page. Next, locate the 'Your Information' section and click 'Edit your password'. On the next page create a new one. Click 'Save' button. The next time you log in, you will need to use the updated password. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive, so make sure that your caps lock is not on.

 

How do I change my email?

To change your email, please log in and go to the Account page. Next, locate the 'Your Information' section and click 'Edit your email'. On the next page, simply erase your email address and type the new one. Click the 'Save changes' button. The next time you log in, you will need to use your updated email address.

 

Are ads on ad4all free?

Yes. Ad4all.co.uk is free. You can post ads, browse ads, and respond to ads all for free. There are no fees or commissions. However, if you would like to promote your ad you can chose Premium or Premium+ service.

 

How do I receive messages?

If someone responds to your ad through the 'Respond to ad' link, our system will send the message to your email address

 

How do I edit my ad?

You can edit your ad by logging in to your account and going to the Account page. From there, select which ad you want to change and click 'Edit'.

 

How do I delete my ad?

You can delete your ad by logging in to your account and going to the Account page. From there, select which ad you want to remove and click 'Delete'.
